A comprehensive review of the credit card business of a leading Australian bank identified a series of specific recommendations designed to improve profitability in the short and medium term. Over A$56m of annual improvements were identified, and the deep insights generated continue to be used to guide the client's decision making.
DEPOSIT PROFITABILITY ENHANCEMENT
A deep-dive in to the deposits business of a South-East Asian challenger bank identified a range of strategies that could be implemented to increase fee-based income and reduce funding costs. Net revenue gains of circa 3% are expected to accrue once fully implemented.
We worked with our client to upgrade, simplify and de-risk their suite of consumer contracts. Project managing from start to end we reviewed the structure, language, and technical accuracy of each contract and delivered a more concise, legally watertight and fully compliant set of documents in plain English. Particular attention was paid to ensuring that the contracts truly reflected how the products worked in practice. Total documentation was reduced by circa 70%.
